A Grateful Heart

Psalms 103:1-5

“Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name”.

Ingratitude is dangerous, particularly when it is directly shown against the Almighty God. There are many things we enjoy from God’s benevolence, but we often take them for granted. David took some time to list the blessing of God upon his life so that he would not overlook any of them. Two of the things he mentioned are the benefits of forgiveness and divine healing.

How many people truly acknowledge God as the source of every benefit/blessing? How often do we acknowledge God for our health and wellbeing?  Do we truly thank him for His will in our lives?  I Thessalonians 5: 16-18 – Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus’ ‘.  There are numerous illnesses and diseases for which there is no known cure. When we think about COVID-19 and its impact on the entire world, do we even remember to thank God for the vaccine that slows down the impact?

May the Lord grant us divine wisdom in the mighty name of Jesus which is far superior to healing.  I Corinthians 15:57  “But thank be to God, He gives us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ”.
Make a habit of counting your blessings and testifying to God’s goodness at all times. Have a productive week.
